5th European Congress Conservation Biology

The theme of ECCB2018 is planetary wellbeing – a concept that captures the wellbeing of people as well as the integrity and sustainability of Earth's ecosystems. ECCB2018 provides a forum to discuss and develop solutions for some of the greatest challenges faced by humanity by bringing together natural and social scientists, practitioners, industry members and government decision-makers.

The conference is organized by the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, University of Jyväskylä, Finland. For questions about the ECCB2018, please contact us at  .

Abstracts for contributed talks and posters can be submitted on any aspect related to conservation biology. Applicants are encouraged to consider proposals across many disciplines, as abstracts will be judged on their quality rather than scientific discipline. All abstracts will be peer reviewed, in the Peerage of Science system. Note that at least the presenting author, and ideally all co-authors, are expected to peer review at least two other abstract submissions to the conference.

All peer reviewed abstracts are automatically issued a DOI and published in University of Jyväskylä's JYX - Open Access repository as peer-reviewed research products, unless declined by you. You have the option to decline the publication in the submission system.
