Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS)

SAMS is Scotland’s largest and oldest independent marine science organisation, dedicated to delivering marine science for a healthy and sustainable marine environment through research, education and engagement with society. The SAMS group employs over 150 regular staff; and host over 130 bachelors, masters and PhD students. SAMS is a charitable organisation and a Company Limited by Guarantee (Scotland) and operates two wholly owned subsidiary commercial companies.

SAMS will offer TA, lead JRA5, and contribute to NA2, JRA2 and JRA3.
